Plant Propagation Course

Thursday 29th September 2022 – 10.30am to 1.00pm

This is a half day course where you will learn how to genetically recreate your favourite plants, and how to create new specimens and colours through breeding.

There will be plenty of seeds to collect from out native meadow and within the forest garden.

Plants will also be provided so you can practice layering and division, and the many forms of root propagation.

Students are also encouraged to bring their own plants and cuttings they wish to use and share with others.

Hot drinks and biscuits are provided. Course cost £20 (+£1.43 booking fee)

Tutor: Nick Burton

Nick studied Chemistry of Natural Resources at university and has spent 40 years gardening and working in the countryside. The site built up over 30 years provides the perfect setting for outdoor courses which are run with a contagious enthusiasm. Participants have an opportunity to learn from each other, and during Q & A sessions, making the courses personal to you.
